Privacy Policy

This policy covers the buko.app website only. Each Buko Labs app has its own privacy policy on its product page; this page is just about the website.

The short version: This website has no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. We don't collect or sell your personal data. For basic traffic counts we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare). The only third parties that ever touch your data are Cloudflare (hosting + analytics) and our comment system (GitHub / Giscus), and only as described below.

1. Who we are

buko.app is operated by Buko Labs. For any questions about this policy, contact [email protected].

2. What we collect — almost nothing

This is a static website. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no contact forms. We run no advertising SDKs, set no tracking cookies, do not build profiles of visitors, and do not use invasive analytics such as Google Analytics.

For basic, aggregate traffic counts (page views, referrers) we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and anonymous: it sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track you across sites or build any profile of you.

3. Hosting (Cloudflare)

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data — such as your IP address and basic request metadata — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not separately collect or store this data.

4. Blog comments (Giscus / GitHub)

Our blog uses Giscus, which stores comments in GitHub Discussions. The comment widget loads only on blog-post pages, from giscus.app.

  • Reading comments requires nothing.
  • To post a comment or react, you sign in with a GitHub account and authorize Giscus. Your comment and GitHub username then become public on GitHub.
  • Anything you do through GitHub is governed by GitHub's privacy policy. We never receive your GitHub credentials.

5. Links to apps and other sites

Links on this site lead to our apps' own pages and to app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) or other third-party sites. Those have their own privacy policies. Each Buko Labs app also publishes its own privacy policy on its product page.

6. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, of any age.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change.
